Earlier this week, the news broke that Hess Corporation will sell off it's retail gasoline station business.
Sal was appeared on MONEY with Melissa Francis yesterday on the Fox Business Network to discuss the announcement. During the appearance, it was noted that gasoline retailers make very slim profits selling gasoline. As such, it is likely that Hess is looking to exit the retail market to focus on the far-more-profitable oil exploration business. While it is too early to determine who will purchase these locations, NJGCA believes that it is likely that distributors will eventually bid on the properties.
