GREETINGS AND SAL-UTATIONS!

Dear NJGCA Member:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Over the last few weeks we have brought you important information, useful tips, critical news and timely updates about what is going on in the industry and around the State.

I hope you have enjoyed reading these weekly e-newsletters as much as I have enjoying sending them to you.

And you can be sure there will be much more to come in the weeks and months ahead.

This week, instead of my usual insight and commentary, I’m keeping it very simple:

On behalf of the NJGCA Board of Directors and our staff, I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.

See you next week.

Regards,
Sal Risalvato,
Executive Director

NEWS AROUND THE STATE

11/15/2007:

The Port Authority is increasing tolls on Hudson River crossings and PATH trains to raise money for capital projects such as the new Trans-Hudson Tunnel.

11/15/2007:
Pump prices in central New Jersey less of a burden to residents
Thanks to low gas taxes, high median income, and in-state refineries, residents in central New Jersey do not face the same price shock as consumers nation-wide.

11/14/2007:
Fuel of the Future: Tristate area’s first hydrogen station opens
The first hydrogen fuel pump in the region was recently opened in Westchester County, New York. Four more pumps are planned in the next 12 months.

Double Edged Sword: Increasing fuel economy standards may also mean relying more on imported fuel.
Mandating an increase in alternative fuel production and development may actually increase foreign oil imports to the United States.
